To become a realtor, it’s important to first obtain a high school diploma or equivalent certificate (GED). You will also need to be at least 18 years old and complete 90 hours of real estate education courses, approved by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission. Following these courses, you must pass the real estate salesperson licensing examination. Then, select a broker who you would like to work with.
